Meet the Creator - Amanda Rabinowitz
While attending the University of Rochester, Amanda studied art history and studio arts before becoming an apprentice to a well-established jeweler, where she learned the ins and outs of the jewelry trade. In the summer of 2015, Witz Jewelry Design was born when Rabinowitz bought her first 3D printer; affectionately named Citrus. Amanda then taught herself CAD (computer-aided design) and later enrolled in the Gemological Institute of America, graduating with a certificate in CAD/CAM for jewelry design in 2015. After receiving her certificate, she was able to achieve her goal of bringing individuals’ jewelry dreams to life, which she continues today.
